Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization (BSEC) Business Council is an international, non-governmental and non-profit organization 

As the Organization representing the business communities in the 12 Member States, the BSEC Business Council aims to promote business cooperation and regional integration as a first step toward integration into the global business system.

BSEC Business Council offers a unique opportunity in a globalized world while importance of public-private partnership increases. The main objectives of the BSEC Business Council are to provide a platform for public-private partnership, lobbying and acting for the continuous improvement of the business and investment environment throughout the region by broadening cooperation with countries outside of the region as well as by creating and strengthening cooperation with international organizations and financial institutions and to ensure the full-fledged participation in the global and regional initiatives.


Main operational objectives of the BSEC Business Council are to promote and facilitate the business community for further strengthening cooperation, as well as to contribute to the improvement of the region’s investment climate by: a) providing consulting services for doing business in the region, through an extended information mechanism; b) contributing to the intra-BSEC dialogue towards the enhancement of the regional cooperation delivering the business voice; c) expanding the cooperation with national, regional and international governmental and non-governmental organizations and initiatives for further networking, joint actions and coordination; d) promoting the public-private cooperation, though increasing the advisory role of the BSEC Business Council and activating the dialogue between the government and the business at regional level; e) supporting and facilitating small-medium enterprises; f) promoting the public-private partnerships (PPP), with emphasis in the major infrastructure projects of the area; g) Shaping a “regional business branding”. Regular contacts and cooperation with international and national networks are operating while relations and an effective dialogue, through specific programmes, have been developed with international organizations.

Working visit to the Republic of Bulgaria

Secretary General of BSEC BC Mr.Victor Arkhipov made a working visit to the Republic of Bulgaria, where he had a meeting with the President of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce  Mr. Tsvetan Simeonov in the period from 19 to 21 April. The parties discussed
